this is exactly what i wanted ~ a nice, clean design outdoor thermometer that i can see from my kitchen window. this model is beautifully constructed of stainless steel, easy to mount, easy to read. worth the extra $$$ to not see a big, ugly, plastic thermometer every time i look out the window :)

While the weather station is nice, and the recipient of the gift is pleased, we wanted the one as shown in the picture. It was supposed to have the humidity dial on the bottom. The weather station sent did not have the humidity dial even thou the model number is the same TH-6SS and the photo shows it to be there. Luckily for Amazon we were too busy to attempt an exchange or follow up.

It wasn't calibrated when it came so I attempted to do it via the instructions included. It was difficult to get the glass off the front and I ended up cracking it. I didn't feel like dealing with it so I sent it back. The product looked sturdy and I was excited when I first put it up...until I realized it wasn't reading the right temperature and I had to try to calibrate it.

This is a pretty small, compact weather station and is made very well. We did have to contact the manufacturer about a sticking humidity indicator (on the bottom front) but it was fixed with a few adjustments. We have ours outside our Kitchen window and can read it nicely.

The thermometer was rather accurate,however the humidity gauge was off by about 15 degrees normally. I called the 1-800 number and told this to custumer service and was sent a replacement gauge which seems to be more accurate. Also the gauge itself,is made in China...I was under the impression that the thermometer was made in the good old USA... I,m not crazy about buying products made in China. Seems like a well made product...
