Nice little weather station

Very nice, basic, weather station. The temperature is spot on, and the Barometer is pretty close too. There is no way to be 100% sure the barometer is exact, but I got my local reading from NOAA.gov and it has stayed pretty close to it. The screw to set the barometer is very sensitive, but enough tweaking and it works. It seems to dip below 30" about 12 hours or so before moisture (rain/snow)moves in on us. The hygrometer is pretty neat too. Obviously, using this indoors with the central heating/cooling system, the humidity will not fluctuate much. It definitely don't match the outside humidity. Mine stays around 40%, not moving much more that +/-5%. But that is to be expected. Also no batteries required!! Overall a fun little weather station.

Ok, I was taken in by the cheap price. This does not even make a good paper weight. If your dumb like me just go ahead and buy one. Very poor product!!!!!!!!
I would label it no stars, but it will not do it!

Very easy to view gauges, I'm a short bifocal wearing person. I would recommend getting the drying out agent for the humidity monitor, took a couple of weeks to get that set correctly.

You will need a screwdriver and a local reading to set the pressure gauge. It does work, it may still be about 0.1 inch off on the pressure readings.

I just bought a nice guitar and wanted a way to monitor the humidity in my room to prevent it from cracking from the dry air. I bought a humidifier and a this to monitor the humidity. I wanted an analog one rather than digital just for looks mainly. When it arrived I found the instructions told me to look up the humidity/temp/barometric pressure and "calibrate" the device. Well I'm not sure about you but I don't have a National Weather Service station in my room so I don't know what those things are for my room. I looked it up online for my location and thought if I got it close it might adapt to my room after time. Nope. I ended up buying a digital one instead and the humidity is about 30% off from this one. Too bad. I will be returning this next week. So far I'm liking the one I bought to replace it though: Chaney Indoor Thermometer with Humidity

This "weather station" physically is very appealing, though the mechanics would leave you desiring more. Included instructions tell you to call for your local weather and use a screw driver to set the local temp, humidity, and pressure gauges. The major flaw is the housing is plastic, and an ever so slight twist, or press on the casing will cause the needles to read differently. I purchased two of these and set them with a local weather from undergroundweather.com though I've set both identically they never read the same.. I've adjusted and re adjusted.. they sit literally side by side and have now for 2 weeks.. Only buy this if you want something that looks neat, because its not really a functional piece.

Although the box includes instructions for calibration...listing all three measurements as adjustable... ONLY the barometer can be adjusted. I bought two of these, and neither the thermometer nor the hygrometer agree with each other OR with my digital weather station. Very disappointing. Not recommended.
