this thing is great. accurate to a tee. inside and out. matches my indoor thermostate the same reading. and transmiter shows the same my iphone app shows for outside. stylish too. great price,great delivery. i will order again if needed. its beyond great.

It works decently, but had to finally disassemble it and cut the speaker wire as it continually beeped. I never planned to use it as an alarm clock, just want a lighted indoor/outdoor thermometer that works well (and that is exactly what it does)... 2 months later: The manufacturer needs to fix the infernal and continuous beeping though. The remote sensor doesn't work anymore, and it drains batteries rapidly. Look for a different weather station... really poor item.

Although the product itself did not meet my expectations, the seller went above and beyond what I consider to be excellent customer service. It was my fault I didn't read the reviews and discovered this product to not provide the outside temp in an accurate manner. However, the seller offered to refund my money and allow me to keep the item since it does work well for inside temps as well as time. In this day and age, a seller like that who contacted me the minute he saw my original review and values those comments is rare.

I wanted to like this product as it was exactly what I was looking for at a very good price. I returned due to the persistent intermittent beeping. There is no way to silence it and I could not tell why it was beeping. It read the outdoor sensor fine, but also was registering another sensor (maybe a neighbors). I could not get it to maintain a lock with the sensor that came with the unit.

I've had 2 units from other manufacturers at higher costs. This is the most accurate of all of them. It matches the indoor temp of another device and my thermostat. It also tracks both The Weather Channel(TM) and online Weatherbug.com(TM) within .5 degrees for outdoor readings.
Like other buyers, I found the beeping when the temp changes annoying. I spliced a small slide switch from a solar garden light into the internal speaker wire with the switch handle protruding through a small rectangular hole (thanks to my Dremel and a jewelers mini file) I made in the angled side of the casing. I can now switch the speaker on and off for the beeping signal and alarm as needed.
The manufacturer could have added this low cost function to the unit. It would have been an positive sales feature.
I looked for a long time to find a thermometer with a backlight. Finally, I found this on Amazon at half the price of devices elsewhere with comparable functions.
Without question I'd buy another, especially with Amazon Prime's price including fast delivery.

WOW, really like this unit, great indiglo light, seems quite accurate, I bought this to monitor my wine cellar temperature, it also is equipped with a memory for the high/low temperature of my cellar. Now for the problem it randomly and for no reason beeps every so many minutes, very annoying. I read a very helpful tip to eliminate this annoying feature, remove the back of the clock unit and cut the wires that are connected to the flat speaker on the inside of the back cover. This will not only eliminate the beep but also elimate all functions of this unit that requires a beeping noise, such as the alarm which I have no need for. If not for the beeping I would give this unit five stars, still works like a five star product for monitoring my wine cellar.

I like this weather station so much that I bought one for my mom's house and one for my son's house. They like it too! I've had mine for 3 years and it's still working great, just had to replace batteries from time to time. I am able to see the outside temp, inside temp, time and date, all at a glance.
I haven't used the alarm feature.

The Second One Works Great

Received the unit and although it was a bit larger than I expected, it met our needs, at least until it started intermittent, random beeping. After contacting the company and receiving a very quick response, I was told a certain number of units were defective in this regard and that I should return the unit for full replacement.

Thus far, the second unit seems to be working as advertised. If you order one and it has the "random beeping" problem, be sure to return it immediately for replacement!

Wireless Thermometer

I purchased this about a year ago. It is nice to see the outdoor temp when you wake up in the morning, however...The outside thermometer measures about 4 to 5 degrees higher than the actual temp. And the range of the signal is not very strong. It will stop sending the outside temp to the inside unit and will need to be reset if it is too far apart.
